Step-By-Step Guide On How To Use Tip4Teach:
Select “Tip a Teacher Now”.
If you know your teacher’s email address, enter it here and select Tip Now. If not, select “I don’t know the teacher’s email.” You will be taken to a screen where you will provide detailed information that we will use to verify their teaching status.
If your teacher has set up an account, you will go directly to the donation page. If not, you will be asked to provide additional contact information that we will use to verify their status before sending them the donation.
Select “Create Account” in the top right corner.
Select your role as a Tipper.
Populate information: Complete the registration form to create a tipper account.
You will then be asked to verify your email address.
Select “Create Account” in the top right corner.
Select your role as a Teacher.
Populate information: Complete the registration form to create a teacher account.
You will then be asked to verify your email address.
You will then create a profile which will be used to: A) Communicate with donors and B) create an Amazon account used to purchase and ship classroom supplies.
After your account has been established, our administrators will review your information, and you will receive a response within 24-72 hours.
If claiming a tip upon approval your account will be preloaded with the funds provided. If you have any issues please contact admin@tip4teach.org
You will receive an email confirming your account approval.
Navigate to the Teacher Dashboard on tip4teach.org and select “Purchase Supplies on Amazon”
Verify the address where you want to send the school supplies, and note the balance on your account.
Navigate Amazon in the same way you would purchase personal items. The only difference is in the top-left corner, where it says “Business Prime”, which will not affect the purchasing process.
Click “Add to cart”.
Click “Proceed to checkout”.
Verify correct mailing address and that the “Order Total” is less than the funds remaining in your Tip4Teach account.
Amazon will automatically send you back to the Tip4Teach Teacher dashboard. Verify your order is “Pending”. Once your order is pending, a Tip4Teach administrator will review the purchase.
The pre-orders page will show you the status of all of your orders.
Your Tip4Teach available balances will update automatically.
Once your order is approved by the Tip4Teach admin, it will show as “ordered”. You will also receive an automated email from Amazon with purchase confirmation and delivery information.
