About Amy Pedersen
I’m starting my 7th year of teaching in a self- contained K-4 elementary classroom with students on the Autism Spectrum and with come developmental and cognitive disabilities. I’m eager to get into the classroom and really build relationships with every learner. What I don’t have available yet is sensory materials. I want to create a safe and inviting classroom where every learner feels loved and respected.
How I Will Use Donations
The donations I’m requesting this year are to specifically build a sensory space within my classroom with manipulative and tactile items that can help regulate my learners emotional regulation as well as work with fine motor skills and visual stimulation.
