About Kristen Blom
I am a passionate, dedicated educator who truly loves what I do. After nearly 20 years in education, I still feel incredibly lucky to walk into my classroom each day and make a difference in the lives of my scholars. I love creating a classroom filled with positivity, encouragement, and a little fun! Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, working out, hiking, reading, drinking lots of coffee, and making memories with my eight nieces and nephews, whom I adore beyond words.
How I Will Use Donations
Donations will have a meaningful impact in my classroom by giving my scholars access to the supplies, resources, and learning experiences they deserve. I teach at a Title I school where many of my scholars come from families facing financial challenges, and purchasing extra school supplies is simply not an option for everyone. Our school also has limited classroom funding, so there are often resources I would love to provide but cannot purchase on my own. Having these materials means more than simply having supplies—it means a child can walk into the classroom feeling prepared, included, and ready to learn. It gives my scholars the opportunity to explore, create, collaborate, and discover their strengths without worrying about what they don’t have. Every donation helps me build a classroom where my scholars can feel supported, capable, and proud of themselves as learners.
