About Shannon Vetter
I am beginning my third year as an Innovative Pre-K teacher. This means that my classroom is housed in our local high school building and my four-year-old Pre-K students work with the high school Child Development students every day. It is an amazing program for both sets of students! I have taught Kindergarten, middle school Langauge Arts and high school English and AP Literature. I have learned that students have the same needs no matter their age or stage of life. They need encouragement, challenges, routines and structure, someone who believes in them, an ear to listen to them and the opportunity to be their own selves.
